ATLANTA, GA- Brandon Miller, a Georgia Institute of Technology intern for the MBDA Business Center-Atlanta, won Best Biomedical Engineering Capstone Project, along with three other students, during Georgia Tech’s 2014 Capstone Design Expo. This year the annual event was held at the McCamish Pavilion and was the largest expo to date.
The Capstone Design Expo, which showcases projects from undergraduate senior design courses, gives students the opportunity to work together to design products or tackle real-world problems. Miller’s team Abdo Surgical, designed a device to effectively close abdominal incisions after damage control surgery.
Miller, graduated from Georgia Tech on May 3, 2014 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Engineering and has accepted a job offer at Clarkston Consulting in Charlotte, NC.
