Atlanta MBDA Centers Host Healthcare Luncheon

Atlanta MBDA Centers will launch its H.E.A.R.T. (Healthcare Expert Alliance Round Table) program with an inaugural meeting on October 22, 2019 to address opportunities, challenges and provide education around emerging trends and technologies within the healthcare industry.

HEART was established to align MBEs in the healthcare space with opportunities from major healthcare corporations. It serves MBEs who operate in the healthcare industry and major prime and second-tier suppliers in the healthcare space seeking teaming and contracting opportunities with qualified and vetted MBE firms.

“Our goal at the MBDA Centers is to sustainably grow our client firms and align them with opportunities. MBEs typically face more roadblocks to scaling, and this applies especially to MBEs in the healthcare space. HEART is our answer to this need,” says Donna Ennis, Project Director for the Atlanta MBDA Business and Advanced Manufacturing Centers. “We are actively working to align our clients in the competitive healthcare space with opportunities, continued education, and partnerships. “

The Atlanta MBDA Centers have a vision to give MBEs access to current opportunities in healthcare and to deliver roundtable discussions around popular trends and rising challenges in the industry. Through growing and strengthening MBEs in the healthcare sector, the Atlanta MBDA Centers aim to strengthen the number of MBEs in the healthcare supply chain and provide a methodical approach to the economic development of MBEs that focuses on impact, longevity and sustainability.
